On 8 October (PROSE: Cardiff Earthquake) 2006, (TV: Boom Town) UNIT issued a press briefing about the clean-up work in the aftermath of the Cardiff Earthquake. While the operation was successful, UNIT stated that many people were missing, including Mayor of Cardiff Margaret Blaine, and UNIT's Scientific Advisors all agreed that the Blaidd Drwg Power Plant project should be abandoned due to the instability of the ground it was proposed to be built on. On 8 October 2009, Tony Warner, while playing football with his mates in a local Ealing park, accidentally kicked the ball too far, and was kidnapped by Odd Bob the Clown as he went to retrieve it. This made him the third child to vanish from that area that week. (TV: The Day of the Clown)
