1866 was a key year for time travel in England.
It was the year in which Victoria Waterfield began travelling with the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon. Her father and Theodore Maxtible made contact with the Daleks before or during this year and opened a "time corridor" to 1966, which was eventually used to bring the Doctor and his Scottish companion back to 6月2日 1866.
