At Versailles in France, a conference was held for the signing of the peace treaty after World War I. George Limb was present at the conference and was later suspected by Chief Inspector Patrick Mullen and the Seventh Doctor of sabotaging the treaty, influencing the beginning of World War II twenty years later.
