In 2016, the Shadow Kin attacked the Autumn Prom at Coal Hill Academy, in pursuit of Charlie Smith and Andrea Quill. The Twelfth Doctor assisted the pair in repelling the Shadow Kin, and assembled the Coal Hill defenders to deal with future invasions & incidents that would occur around Shoreditch as a result of the space-time tears at Coal Hill.
